John, would you be kind enough to tell us which of your swords you're using? I assume the broken one was your old Del Tin Greatsword that you broke cutting bamboo for that old video. However, I'm not sure what the other one is, and I'd like to be able to tell some of the people who have doubts about such experiments what materials were used in the experiments.

If anyone else knows I'd be more than greatful.

Yep, good video, although it's a little painful to watch. I've dinged and nicked edges accidentally and cringed when I saw the result. I would think the damage might be even more severe if both blades were in motion, being swung at each other by two swordsman, but I'm not suggesting anyone try that experiment!

John gave this info on our other list:

They were a very sharp raven, two older Sharp Del Tins, and an older
semi-sharp Windlass.
The photos also include two Angels and another Del Tin.
