Solo training for the new practitioner?

Postby Steve Fitch » Mon Oct 01, 2007 8:36 am

How would one train without a teacher?

Videos?
Books?

If so...where/What, etc?

Thanks for your help!

This question is getting answered along with your "which books to read" post. Start with reading, and as you come on a technique, give it a try. The stuff you find on this site will tell you where to start (third link in from the left, on the top of every page) and will give you tips for starting on your own. Good luck!

Also,

as soon as you can, get yourself to a 1.0 seminar. A 1.0 will help you learn everything you need to know to establish a firm foundation for your own self studies.

all the best.

Great idea! I live between Toronto and Ottawa (evenly). I should look up noobie courses.

On the homepage under Upcoming ARMA Events.

The next ones are Mexico City and Abingdon, VA. Abingdon has been extended to two days. Contact me if you want to make the trip.
