So while I can't see the picture anymore, I would make one note about the differences between Pekiti and the (very little!) German Longsword work i've seen. Namely, that there's no training of a specific guard position(s) at all in the first two sub-systems of Pekiti, although they end up appearing. The positions just end up being consequences of the striking patterns taught, as opposed to things to learn in and of themselves. This may be a consequence of the smaller weapon at play, as there is much less need of a resting position
