Looking for training partners in the Greater Toronto Area.

Postby Jeff Kauffeldt » Fri May 02, 2008 4:24 am

Hello everyone. The is some what of an introduction for me. My name is Jeff and I've been studying German Longsword techniques for about 4 years now and I have progressed to the point were I can't progress with just a pell.
I really need someone to try and hit my back. I am associated with the SCA
but there fighting styles are based around weapons that are unique them.
I'm a little frustrated that many on the techniques that are fundamental to the longsword can not be employed. I'm hopping to find other people in the Greater Toronto Area who are interested in practicing German longsword techniques because it's just not that much fun to hit a poll that doesn't try to fight back or get out of the way.

Yes, unless your name is "Ich bin ein Berliner" then "Doughnut" is not an acceptable username. Please edit your profile.
