Greetings (Again)

Postby Christopher Czyzewski » Sun Jun 15, 2008 2:25 am

Hey, everyone. I joined this forum about 10 months ago, and have been waiting to get accepted as an ARMA member. Unfortunately, I have not heard back any word about the form I put in at all. I heard it could take several months, and its easy to forget about it while you're waiting, since there's not much to do in the meantime. Is there any way to talk to someone personally and get a definite answer, or guarantee that my membership form reaches someone?

Hi Chris,

You'll want to email John Clements personally. His email is at bottom of each page of the site.

I'm afraid I still haven't gotten any response after sending that e-mail. I realize that Mr. Clements is surely quite busy, but I have to say... this membership process is a bit of a pain.

John does get tons of email it's true, but if you go more than two weeks without a response then sending a reminder is not a bad idea, just don't spam him about it every little bit.

Chris,
Keep trying, I had a similar experience and when I pushed through, John had in fact never gotten my application or money  . I haven't tried to renew with fears of the same thing happening.

Yes, I did send a check! But still sucks none the less!
The check never was seen again and eventually void, some postman has it lodged between his seats.
