Anyone near Philadelphia

Postby Curt Dunham » Sat Jul 12, 2008 9:11 pm

My wife and I live aboard our 36-ft trawler; and we've been cruising up the coast from our home port in Fort Myers, FL. We're going to be here in Philadelphia until Sept 10.

I haven't trained or sparred in about a month since I left my group, ARMA-South Florida, and would love to meet up with someone to work out. I do have a car available.

I'm in Danville, which is about two hours north of Philly.

There is a New Jersey study group that I go to from Philadelphia. If you can access the Septa trains in the city Patco can take you to Westmont in New Jersey where the members pick me up.

The study group contacts should have John Sheetz's email address, or you could PM me and I could try to get you in contact with them.

John is a good man. If you ever get lucky and show up while his son's in town, you're in for one of the high-lights of your fencing career!

Scott, Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to combine training with my many family/social obligations and unfortunately they are all to the northeast. So I'm going to try to contact the NJ groups.

If you can get down to Philly, though, I'll be able to set aside half a day just for me for training.
