"Book of Swordsmanship" His True Art of Defense by Giacomo Di Grassi 1594

I have found him on a time line of WMA, but I haven't found this book. I'm also in a position to get it for around $25 US. I was just wondering if it was a good buy, a "get it if you want", or a swindle kind of thing.

Any comments?

If you google "Giacomo di Grassi" you will find several sites which have his manual for free - both in the original, published in 1570 in Italian, and the English translation made by Thomas Churchyard published in 1594.

Definitely a must read, but it's up to you if you want to actually buy it...

When one is a student $25 can be a lot of money. On the other hand, it's the cost of one movie with coke and popcorn or the cost of a few rounds of drink with the boys. I'll suggest getting it. It'll last and server you for a long time.

I think I will eventually. I'm trying to get other books at the moment. It's just an E-book anyway, but it comes on a DVD with other cool info on it. ARMY manuals, fighting manuals, stuff like that. They have tons in stock anyway, so I got a while to get it.
