Looking for members in S.E. Idaho

Postby Buck Hedges » Thu Jul 31, 2008 10:23 pm

I live near McCammon, Soda Springs, and Pocatello, Idaho. I recently discovered ARMA and am looking for any members in the area. I have taken Asian martial arts before, and although there are several Tae Kwan Do schools available in the area, I am looking for something more realistic and less "sporty" or tournament oriented. It is also for this reason that I am not overly interested in the SCA.

My interests do include blacksmithing, specifically knife and sword making, horsemanship, including cavalry training and tactics, primitive weapons such as the atlatl and maqahuitl, and tomahawk or knife throwing.

Please feel free to e-mail me at buck.hedges@gmail.com. or reply to this thread.

Thanks!

Glad to be here Christine. Buck is my real name. It came from my great grandfather. It's honest, on my SS card, and fortunately for me, relatively easy to spell.

Hi Buck,

not sure of any ARMA members up in your neck of the woods. There are some down in Ogden, Utah. Maybe Casper Bradock knows of some further north, but I don't.

all the best.
