I would like to thank everyone who came (from significant distances in some cases) to the Columbus Ohio messer adept program. Special thanks to Jake for teaching an excellant class. It was great fun and we certainly got a good grounding in the basics of messer. Events like these make me proud and glad to be an ARMAteer. :D

Man I wish I could have gone to this one. But Valentine's Day is probably never going to be a good day for me to attend ARMA events.
Though I couldn't make it for the ARMA seminar on the messer, I did recently purchase Hans Heim's and Alex Kiermayer's dvd on the messer. One does have to take it with the same grains of salt as you do with their longsword dvd, but on the whole it is a great tool for learning messer basics. I imagine it would be helpful to those of you who actually went to the seminar, too.
Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

yep, it was discussed a bit, thanks for the thought, hope to see you at another event; have to work on timing, but sometimes have to take what is given
