Albion Maestro Line Epée de Guerre

Anyone played around with this bad boy yet? http://www.albion-swords.com/swords/alb ... guerre.htm
If so, how is it? How differently does it handle from the other Maestro line swords?

It looks more of a cutter than a thruster. Kind of like a scaled up Lichtenaeur (which also has that feel).

It just came out, I don't know anyone who has one yet.

Acording to Albion's site the Epee de Guerre is only 2.5 ounces heavier than the Liechtenauer. However, it also says that the overall length of the Great Sword is 4 inches shorter than the Liechtenauer. That's got to be a misprint. If it is only 2.5 ounces heaver given the bulkier look, its handling characteristics must be very different than the Liechtenauer.

No those specs are probably spot on. I'd expect very different handling characteristics with a forward pivot point nearer to the hand, a lot more power in the cut, and somewhat less tip control.
