Reclaiming the Blade by Galatia Films

Postby Patrick Kelly » Mon Apr 20, 2009 10:32 pm

Hello All,

I just dropped in to congratulate ARMA on its involvement in Reclaiming the Blade by Galatia Films. John Celements and the other ARMA members featured did an excellent job of representing the martial aspect of our favorite study subject, as well as ARMA as a group.

Kudos gentlemen and well met.

Just rented and watched it on Itunes for a few dollars.

Doesn't really say anything I didn't already gather from reading the public ARMA articles, but as a documentary and a public re-education video it's excellent imo.

It was surprisingly entertaining and would be very informative and enlightening for those who didn't spend a lot of time researching on RMA. I'm sure all RMA groups will be getting more popular as a result of this film...

I was about to post a topic on this but figured I'd search for it first :p and found this.

Netflix has it available for instant watching and I just watched it this evening and had no knowledge that John or anyone from ARMA was involved and then I saw him and said "Hey, I know that site! got to go post!"

http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/Reclaimi ... e/70111112

It was quite good, laughed at the part where the guy is like "You can't do that, it's illegal!"

"But I don't care about legality, I'm trying to kill you!"

Just shows the depth it's taken from the more realistic MA toward the sport setting.
