I mean seriousely look at the statistics for the last three episodes. In each case the poeple who brought the bow and arrows "won". I mean I could be mistaken, but haven't guns replaced swords in real life? Purely based on technologocal advantage the pirate should win ever battle against any of the last 5 groups.

Still, I was really impressed at the armor.

I shall have to try watching it in mute. To be honest, after watching the ninja v. spartan episode, I decided not to watch another one. It just wasn't worth the headache I got from all the eye-rolling. Though I liked the metsubushi eggs. I went and blow out my eggs for breakfast the next morning, filled them with flour, and ninja attacked a tree in my yard! :D

I know necromancy is wrong but did anyone here find the taiaha from the maori V shaolin episode totally awesome?

That show is still on? I though they moved to modern stuff, so I signed off. I'll have to go and check it out.

That was interesting. I only saw the last fight b/c the rest wasn't up yet, but even then they had typical flawed logic. I can't wait to see the trials though.

They have done a couple of "modern" shows but the shaolin monk V Maori warrior had some sick trials on it. The Maori's weapons definitely created some devastating wounds. Also, the Shaolin hookswords were pretty awesome. I had seen them before but only in pictures so it was a cool sight seeing them used by a Wushu practitioner. It gives some idea as to the way they were used in combat.
