Well, it was based on a fight written in a book, which in and of itself is probably not terribly accurate.

It's about as realistic as you could expect any old fight portrayal to be these days, I'd say...

Ya, while portraying, the author of course gather enough sound knowledge about the fight, but still ,along with the flow of writing some imaginations also get included... It's the natural course of writing...

True Sal, but that doesn't mean it can't be a realistically portrayed plot-advancing fight. If we got some of (swetnam's? I think?) resolute men halfe drunke to go at it with swords, I'm sure it would be pretty close to a hollywood rendition of swashbuckling splendor with more period correct moves
