hi to all
i've known about WMA or HEMA or..... 1 year ago.My curiosity grew up as i read more Historical Manuals,so i've tried to find some near gyms or groups who teach it (even to spar with a XVII thought i'm not a rapier guy ) but in my zone the popularity of the HEMA still have to rise :( , then I want you to suggest something to do alone, actually i'm 17 and have no money for myself even for a waster (but i have a wooden broomstick :D )

Do basic cutting drills and lots of good footwork. Practice them over and Over and OVER again. Get a Job to buy some decent equipment.

If you can't dedicate the time for a real job with school, keep an eye out for notice boards that might offer payments for small jobs.

I bought my waster from doing psychology and fitness studies for my school; earned me a few hundred dollars on my spare time without having to dedicate a rigid schedule.

Doesn't earn as much as even a part time job, but again, it's the time commitment advantage.

In the ARMA members area we have several basic drills that will help you improve, if followed correctly.

Hey, no problem.

It isn't in the manuals section (but those are highly useful too  ) I am unable to post a link b/c the drills I'm talking about are found in the "member's" website. If you submit an application, and are accepted, then you will have access to them. I have found them extremely useful in my own personal solo work, and highly recommend them.
