study Group in Portland, OR?

Postby Tom Kinder » Wed Jan 06, 2010 4:15 pm

I have heard there is a study group in the Portland, OR area.

I have been wanting to train with a group/school for a long time but have had little ability to find them in the places I have been.

I would very much apreciate contact info so I can stop being a loner

I live in Seaside but I could make it to Portland a few time a month I think.

thank you

Trent Retallack would be your contact for a HEMA instructor in the Portland area. I studied under him for a few months until moving to the St Louis area. PM me for Trent's contact info if you are still interested.

sorry about the name, here's my full one.

ok great to hear I will send a PM in just a tick.

thank you.

wow Appleton and St. Louis both places I have lived in or near in the past good to know you guys are there too.

I'm in the USCG so I move around a lot and eventually I'll retire and be likely to move back to the good old midwest where I grew up.

thanks Aaron, yeah I was stationed in Milwaukee from 03-06 and that job had me up and down the whole west coast of the lake working on the small boat stations and I was in Kenosha from 98-2000 which had me up and down that coast working on light houses, so yeah I've spent some time over there. in fact Wisconsin seems more like home to me these days than the St. Louis area where I grew up since I have more family and friends in WI these days.
