Casper,

I also have harness. It is mainly SCA stuff, so it is thicker than is historically accurate. I am going to start banging out some new pieces to make a more historiclly correct harness. In fact, my goals are to make a 14th century harness, a 15th century harness and a 16th century harness. I am just in the middle of finishing up my gambeson, then I was going to get some steel and start on some pieces out of 18 gage and 16 gage. I do have enough stuff though to put together two complete SCA suits. I am however a 2 hour drive away from Salt Lake. But we should be able to work something out for practicing together on occasion. <img src="/forum/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

Sounds good, and it sounds like you've got some lofty goals! I was tempted to delve deeper into the armouring skills myself, but it turned out I enjoy learning to use a sword too much! Good luck with all that. Contact me anytime you'll be in the neighborhood.
