A Personal Goal

As a personal goal this year:

By the end of 2011, I will work through the entirety of the Von Danzig Blossfechten material, and be able to demonstrate every technique mentioned therein in solo drill, paired drilling, and under freeplay conditions.

As a related goal, I will also be able to recite from memory the Von Danzig edition of the Liechtenauer Markverse.

Great Goal!

Mine is to have the same levels of confidence with the techniques in the Getty.

It seems like the kind of goal one could do in a year, with proper application. Not shooting for something unreachable, am I?

I might split it up into monthly goals. Makes it so you can more effectively evalutate your progress and if you get a bit behind you can pick up some slack the next month. Or if the whole endevour is doomed, you'll know within the month. Good luck

I firmly believe the manuals are in the order they are in for a reason, so I'll be tackling it all in order from start to finish. Anyone want to help me break it down month by month? :D
