<img src="/forum/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" /> HI All,

I just wanted to say a big "THANK YOU" to the vendors who came to the ARMA International Event.

Mike Sigman of Albion Armorer's surprised me by bringing more swords than he origanally told me. He preimiered the "Hollow Ground Medieval Sword Line" http://www.albionarmorers.com/sword...nd/medieval.htm which was a huge treat for us all. He also brought the Conan Sword Line as well as the beast master. But the pattern welded Jody Samson dagger left me breathless. The craftsmanship in his work is hard to describe and no picture does it justice. The dagger was sold before the event started on the next day Mike's is a true professional and a great representative of the craftsman back at Albion. He really made my event something specail.

Along with him was the Mercanaries Tailor's Al, Harlan, Jason, and Ron. Not only did these guys bring more armor than I had tables but they brought tools and anvils as well. If any scholar's purcahsed armor they ensure that it fit them by putting thier tools to work. Thier knowledge on armor and the making of it left me awe struck. They even brought some antique peices such as a 15th Century Sellet to show what thier work is based on. The scholars loved the armor because it's munitions grade...it's what the soldier was issued and went to war with. I like the armor because it useable and you don't have to worry about getting it dirty and banged up such as parade armor or very expensive custom made armor. If your looking to purchase some great armor to fight in then gives these guys a try: http://www.albionarmorers.com/armor...nary/tailor.htm

Dan Watson of Angel Sword not only brought a ton of swords but he also brought a ton of cutting mats as well. He let scholars and my parents test cut with his swords on mats and armor. His swords are very nice cutters and very sharp. The woodworking on the hilts is impressive as well. Dan also gave me $100 to buy a keg for the event! Dan also helped me out by asking if he could assist in helping Scholars get to the airport! A very helpful and great guy. Thanks Dan.

Steve and his Noah from Hollow Earth brought many a waster to sell. It was nice to finally meet these guys. Steve even ran out of Cut and Thrust wasters Steve even asked for input on a standard training waster for ARMA which I thought was very nice. Thanks Hollow Earth.

Thanks Guys for making the event such a success!!!

Cheers,

Todd

I was very impressed with the vendors, both with their products and as people. I enjoyed the sounds of the anvil ringing in the background, and being able to handle the many swords from Angel and Albion was a real treat. After handling the Crecy, I couldn't help myself and I ordered it yesterday. So, big ups to all the vendors, and a special thanks to Daniel from Angel Sword for allowing us to test cut with his blades and even providing the tatami.
