Quetions about the long sword,bastard sword,arming sword

1.Were bastard sword belong to long sword?

2.What methods did the bastard sword ever used in history?

3.Can it be used with the way of arming sword then you were use it by single hand?

4.Is there any methods onlu used for bastard sword,not long sword?
