Looking for training partners in Ma

Postby Steven Jones » Mon Mar 19, 2012 8:47 am

I am new to this web-site/branch of Martial Arts. I have over 30 years of training in Asian martial arts.

Is there any members or groups in this area?

That 1st post just doesn't look right. What I meant to say was:

Although I have several years experience in Asian martial arts, I am looking for a training group in my area (RI - NH?) where I can learn the European/Renaissance Martial Arts. I have always been interested in swords and medieval weapons an would like to learn more about them.

If there are others in this area I would like to get together for some training. If it's a matter of needing a place to train, I can help with that.

Thank you to all the people that PM'd me.

Unfortunately almost all the meeting times start 15-20 minutes after I get out of work in Dennis (1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours away).

I will start by looking at the manuals and see what I can figure out, I do realize that that is a poor substitute for proper instuction.

If anyone happens to start a group closer to the Cape let me know, or if someone wants to start a group (even if it's just on Sunday or every other Sunday afternoon). I do have a place where the group could meet in Sandwich.

Thanks
Steve
