Hi there, I vaguely remember either an article, essay, podcast, or video on this site that talked seriously about the question of where and how to define what a sword is and isn't, and when something can or can't be called a sword. Or it might have been on some other website, I can't remember.
I vaguely remember some questions (maybe a rhetorical question??) on whether to call fencing foils swords, or perfect looking but badly handling reenactment weapons swords, or lovingly and artistically crafted fantasy 'swords' swords... does anyone know the article I am talking about? Something that seriously analyzes where the goalposts should be for the term. Thanks!
