A Waster from New Stirling Arms

Postby John_Clements » Fri Oct 03, 2003 11:28 am

New Stirling Arms in CA (www.newstirlingarms.com) is offering our members a 10% discount on their line of new waster designs for orders of 3 or more. We featured their “Hand and a Half” sword at our recent International Gathering, and have since examined a newer version of what they describe as their “perfect waster”. It’s a very finely made tapering longsword with a very comfortable and stirdy, tight-fitting hilt. We found it a bit too light for standard ARMA use in earnest drilling or free-play, we were very impressed with it as a new trainer for either Youth members or novices seeking a light first-time waster. Very much recommended as a trainer, good balance, nice length, solid construction and a very attractive design at that.
