Fellows,

I am truly sorry to learn of Ewart Oakeshott's passing. I wish that I had met him. May he be at peace.

A Tribute to Ewart Oakeshott

Postby Guest » Sat Oct 05, 2002 10:38 am

Hello Everyone

Thank you for all the kind words and thoughts. I wanted to let everyone know that I will be collecting the posts and they will become a part of the Oakeshott Collection archive.

We have put a Tribute page on the Oakeshott Institute website. You can find pictures and remembrances of Ewart from many different people. We wanted to illustrate what a rare and gallant soul he had and help those who would like to learn more about him see how he touched so many of us. This will be added to as material is collected, so come back periodically to see it grow.

I have also passed on to Sybil and his family the wishes and messages that were sent and they are deeply appreciated and treasured.

Keep well

Craig

I wouldn't be doing what I am doing now if he hadn't been there. as simple as that.

He'll be missed.
