ARMA Knoxville TN

Postby david welch » Fri Dec 05, 2003 7:27 pm

This is just a note to let everyone know that ARMAKnoxville has come out of dormancy and has been meeting the last few weeks.

This week we were lucky enough that Jake Norwood was in town. Jake worked with Donna and I during a morning session, and then was also at the meeting that evening. It looks like we will be fortunate enough to get him back a few times over the next several months, and we are planning reciprocal trips to work with him in Nashville, too.

I can't describe how impressed I am with how helpful and knowledgeable Jake is, and what a difference having him out here made. Truthfully, he did as much for our training in one day than we had done on our own in 18 months. I recommend to all the other people out there working on their own to do whatever it takes to go work with some of the senior students out there. It really is worth it.

And, if you are close enough that you would like to come to OUR meetings, let me know. We are working on getting more group members, and would love to have you.

Thanks,
David Welch

David

Glad to hear the good news about ARMA Knoxville TN. Last May the DFW study group had the pleasure of having Jake attend one of our trainings with John Clements. Not only is Jake a powerhouse of skill and knowledge, he is also an extremely nice person - as is all ARMA members.

By the way, Jake is best attacked from behind. <img src="http://www.thearma.org/forum/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yes we is Ran, yes we is. Nice that be.

I had a great time out in Knoxville myself, and all the guys (and gal) out there were attentive and eager. The Welch's treated me to a fine lunch and even a place to stay one night. They is nice folks, they is.

I look forward to working with that group some more and building you guys up. I also look forward to sparring with you all again.

"Attack me from behind, eh?"

No, I don't think that would have worked for me.

But the next time you stay with us, I was thinking about trying while you were asleep! <img src="http://www.thearma.org/forum/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" />
