If anyone in the mississippi gulf coast group are interested in getting together in New Orleans for sparring some time, please let me know. I have have four experienced people locally who can spar, a wide assortment of padded sparring weapons and equipment including helmets and pads for up to four people at a time.

Thanks Shane!

Actually, we've been an official Study Group since summer, but we've been getting interested new folks at a rapid rate - including three since the week before Christmas. There's lots of interest in WMA in this area, it seems.

My wife and Ken Mahaffey are the first two other than the original three of us to make the commitment to join ARMA as full members, though. I know a couple more of our folks are planning to join up, too. So things are going well in Columbus!

Wow!
When I took John's class in the 90's in Reno and helped start the MBC with friends there, I never would have expected so many like minded individuals were out there. It is great to get back in the art!

Congrats, Jamie! It is good to know that my hometown has an ARMA study group. Yet another reason that Columbus is a good place to live.

Now - be sure to get Ohio State involved so it will be another reason that the BUCKEYES RULE!!!

Well, as three of us work at OSU, we've been discussing how to go about doing with ARMA-Columbus what Jake Norwood and Stewart Feil are doing at BYU.

Jake, Stew - any insights on how to get ARMA installed as an official club at a University?
