Chicago? Any study groups there?

Postby Guest » Tue Feb 17, 2004 10:49 pm

I used to do some swordfighting in college and I'd like to get back into it.

Are there any study groups in chicago, or possibly people who could provide some assistance in starting one?

I think the Chicago Swordplay Guild exists (is that an ARMA affiliate?) but I don't have its contact information.

No, not affiliated and not very supportive I'm afraid.

This probably isn't fast enough, but there's a good chance that I'll be starting a group in Chicago late this summer, when I (probably) move there from Tennessee.

Wow Jake,

Your just moving all over the place. We will have to call you the Johnny Appleseed of ARMA. Wherever he goes he leaves behind the seed of new ARMA groups.

Geez, don't know how I missed this inquiry.

I'm located about 6 hours from Chi town (a bit far to drive), but I know of at least two ARMA members from southern Wisconsin. One is located in Milwaukee (what is that, about two hours north of you?) and one is about an hour from Milwaukee. If you haven't already, email John C. and he'll be able to forward your message to those who may be near you. Hope this helps.
