Joachim Meyer seminar at the Biltmore Estate

Postby david welch » Mon Mar 29, 2004 8:49 pm

We will be holding a special Joachim Meyer by Jake Norwood seminar at the Biltmore Estate, in Asheville, North Carolina the second weekend in June. Details forthcoming.

The event will cover Meyer's longsword along with grappling and dagger material of the German school. It may also include some of Meyer's own grappling and dagger.

Hopefully, we will be able to include a nighttime, candle light tour of the mansion.

We will keep you up to date as our plans mature.

David

If at all possible I do plan on attending.

By the way, does the big house have a back porch where we might sip a little ice tea in the cool evening time while enjoying some polite conversation?

I'm very excited about this material, and about introducing it to a larger public. There's a lot of untapped Meyer stuff that I plan on teaching here.

Don't know if I'll be able to make it or not, but if I do I'll be happy to add Meyer's staff to the mix. Kudos on the cool location, guys!

Hey David. My brother and I will definitely be in on this one, and I might be able to bring a few others along.
