Anybody in Arizona?

Postby Lance Chan » Mon May 03, 2004 1:02 pm

A friend of mine in USA is asking me to forward her some swordsman/swords lovers in the area of Arizona so her friend may share the rare fondness of swords with somebody nearby. Maybe I should also forward her here.

I was once part of a small group of guys in Mesa AZ who played with the WMA but it was too inconsistent and faded away. I doubt anyone here could have known about us, though.

Look here:

This group is in northern AZ had a satellite in Mesa and also in West Phoenix. Many of the group were also SCA.

Like it or not, the SCA is still the best place to find WMA enthusiasts in AZ as far as I know. One might start there and find someone who knows someone...etc. I am not SCA and never have been. Not an endorsement or criticism BTW. Just an observation from personal experience.

Weren't one or two people there at BYU from Mesa/Phoenix area? When I was there last summer, I was able to get with one fellow (sorry, I don't remember whom). I met him previously at the Provo study group.

Just speaking out of ignorance as usual... <img src="/forum/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" />

The group in Arizona referenced above still exists and they have regular practices. Info is available at www.tattershall.org
