Fitness and big rocks!

Postby Douglas S » Tue May 11, 2004 8:30 pm

Hello all. I am interested in researching the medieval history of stone tossing as described in the article about Using the "F" word.

Can anyone suggest some good sources to begin with?

Thanks!

My apologies.

A work of art with the name of "Master of the Banderoles" is called out, but I find that this is the name of a medieval painter. Can someone cite the actual work of art, please?

I am interested in discriminating between stone throwing as sport, versus stone throwing to develop strength.

Thanks!

Hi Doug,
That's my interest too, and the more I dig the more distinct the two appear, I'm not sure what came first but they apear directly related. The art image is so named in Dr. Anglo's book.
