I would like to announce that on September 4, 2004 at 9:00 a.m., Gene Tausk will do his prize playing. The location will be at Kim and Kyle Cook's house in Magnolia,Tx. All ARMA members are encouraged to attend. Gene's Prize Playing will be the first for ARMA. He will be the first to play for his prize in a permanent 20 x 20 Judical Ring.
For all who want to attend, please e-mail me at cookfamily@houston.rr.com . There will be a $10.00 fee for all who attend to cover lunch that will be brought to the house. I also will provide all the drinks for the day.
After Gene plays for his prize we will have lunch. After lunch we can spare till the sun goes down(then i can turn on the lights ).
See you all in September,

I am very sure that Ernie and I will attend. We will try to get some of the others from the DFW study group to also attend - they need to experience facing off with a senior scholar.

This is a arma event only, there is no problem with the arma members family being here also. the one playing the prize will have his family with him, and my family will be here too.

The Prize Playing is this Sat., if you have not RSVP yet please do so. Also we are asking all ARMA member who are attending to wear our ARMA dress uniform to the event. If you do not have this uniform, wear your ARMA shirt with black sweat pants. See you all this Saterday.

Wish I could be there to take a spear in against Gene... like he did to me in my testing... :-)

Gene, good luck, I know you will do very well indeed.

Never had a chance to respond to this earlier because I was getting ready for a trial.

Thanx to all who send me their good wishes. I am definitely looking forward to this. Thanx also to those who will be participating. I appreciate your time and committment.

Then again, I may get an attack of sanity and realize that being locked in a cage with people such as Ernie "so I was in this bus station" Perez for an hour with swords and other melee type weapons trying to slice, dice and julienne me may not be the smartest way to start Labor Day weekend.

Then again, it is more exciting than watching the grass grow...

Hey Tim, thanks for the reminder. I'll be sure to pack my padded spear. I'm sure Gene will be thankful.

Look forward to seeing everyone down there.
