Stew

In coming week expect to be contacted by Ernie, who is now leading the DFW study group. We are looking at hosting a NTP 1.0 for the new people in our study group and the Texas A&M study group.

Just a reminder that this class is coming up. I can't help but remind any new folks or anyone who wants to find out just what renaissance martial arts is, that this is the perfect class to take. I haven't heard a peep out of any West Coast folks regarding interest, but with the Renaissance fair going on this week (I'll be putting flyers out at- if they let me) and with getting the word out some- well hopefully it won't be just Stew and I. <img src="/forum/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" />

I met the folks from New Stirling Arms at the Renaissance fair in Las Vegas this weekend- great folks. I was really impressed with their wasters....so I bought one. They were kind enough to let me put some flyers in their booth for the October seminar (which I really appreciate).

Well, the seminar went well, Stew did a great job on presentation, explanation and demonstration. Most of the folks who were at the seminar had zero experience with WMA- I think all of them went away with at least an appreciation of how truly brutal and effective rennaissance martial arts are. From the possitive feed-back at the event itself, I'd say the chance of an official ARMA study group in Las Vegas looks promising.

I'd like to thank Stew for coming on down to Vegas and running through the 1.0 course, I'd also like to thank him for his presentation on I.33- he and Brian are on to some very cool stuff there. Stew had the skills to teach this class, and you could see it not only in his ability to do the techniques at speed, but also in the confidence in which he presented the material. Thanks again Stew.
