Our first article of the New Year is now online; an interesting peice about the possibiity the rapier master Salvatore Fabris acted at one as time a paid assassin in Sweden.

Spying and assassination have always had a part to play in warfare. I don't want to sound like I am imagining medieval ninjas, but would assassination and other "covert" type operations have been a legitimate field for a fight master to teach, and is there any record of them doing so?

BTW, I can't remember where I read of it, but I think there was a 19th century play loosely based on the incident.
