Thanks Jim and Christine for putting this together. Nice seeing you again Adam and nice to meet you Seth. And damn does LV ARMA got a turn out now! Geoffery, Jeff, Ryan, Stan and Tom. It was great to participate in another 1.0
Every time I go to a 1.0 I learn something or refine something else. (Not that anyone would call me "refined"!)
It is very helpful to have as many people as possible teach you. After having my first 1.0 from Stew here in Vegas, attending the 2005 5th annual in Utah, and the 2007 IG, I still found more from Casper's 1.0 here in Vegas again. Casper focused on a number of things in the 1.0 and hit on a footwork issue that helped. He helped me identify and give voice to a problem I find I have when I get out of practice or out of breath, crossing my feet. If anyone has a chance to take a 1.0 even if you have been to one 10 times before, go to another one, for if you know all of it, you can then learn how to give one.
I wish I could have stayed longer, for lord knows work was not half as exciting. (People kept on looking at me funny when I worked on some of my footwork. Of course, they look at me funny on any given day for that matter.)
Thanks Casper! I know how to wipe the evil grin from your face! All one has to do is take your sword from you. Because if one does, the grin will be replaced by a full blown smile as another Sith is captur...er ... created!('')
Twisted Evil
Can't wait for the next one!!

The ARMA Las Vegas Study Group had its first NTP 1.0 in three years on 12/8. We are sorry that we could not invite more of you to attend, however we had convinced SFS Casper Bradak to come down to teach us on fairly short notice and only had room for 12 participants. It was an intense day of study and fellowship - I'm still not sure how we had the energy for all the freeplay the last hour.
Big thanks to Casper - I learned so much this weekend...still trying to figure out how to wipe that evil grin off your face during freeplay....
And also thanks to Seth and Adam from the ARMA OC Study group - it was great training with you, and I hope to see you again soon...maybe on your turf....
