Personally I would love to attend this workshop and wish I still lived in Alabama so it would be in reasonable driving range. Unfortunately, since I now live in NJ it is just too far. I hope to see a similar workshop at some point for those of us in the Northeast.

Well, I'm going to try my best to get there. I know the training will be great and I know the sparring will also be intense. Shane, I'll cover your back.

Here is a list of motel/hotels near Knoxville Jake Norwood Workshop. Due to a yearly motorcycle convention in Knoxville on the same weekend of the workshop the choices are limited and you need to make reservations soon:

Ramada Limited
$70+tax per room (not person)
(865) 546-7271

Hampton Inn
Friday $100+tax
Sat-Mon $80+tax
(865) 525-3511

We are checking other locations this weekend near the workshop area.

Look forward to meeting everyone.

Can you define "Free Camping" as it appears on the event information page?Does this imply on-site restroom facilities and running water is available or something more or less? Thanks.

Hi, Shane.

I am defining "Free Camping" as tent space, a place for a campfire if you want one, and free access to one of our houses for water, rest rooms, refrigerator, etc.

If you have any more questions or suggestions on how we can help make your stay more enjoyable, please feel free to let us know.

I don't have a tent, and don't know how close to the stables we'll be, but if there are any open stalls, would those be available for sleeping in?

David,

I have a couple of extra tents and I can let you borrow one if you want.

Stalls? No, no you don't want one of those. We do have the origional log homestead barn here from the early 1800s we use to keep hay in though. If you just want to sleep in a barn I can let you pull a couple of bales together to make a bed and you could try to sleep on that.
